Account Handler - Commercial Insurance Broker

Role Overview As a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll be the backbone of our client's servicing team. Working alongside the Account Manager and Directors, you’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are expertly handled from quotation to renewal. You’ll liaise with insurers, negotiate terms, and be the day-to-day contact for clients — providing advice, support, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations across a wide range of commercial policies (e.g. construction, liability, haulage, motor fleet, logistics) Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring outstanding service delivery Liaise with insurers to obtain competitive terms and cover options Provide technical insurance advice to clients Ensure compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the broking system (e.g., Acturis) What We’re Looking For Essential:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial insurance account handling role (broker or insurer-side) Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance classes Excellent communication and client relationship skills High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Proficient in using broking systems and Microsoft Office Able to work independently and as part of a team Desirable:

Experience with Acturis Exposure to complex or niche commercial risks
