Summary:

This role supports a busy commercial team handling a diverse portfolio with GWP often sitting between a few thousand and c.£50k, occasionally higher in this branch. The position offers hybrid working (2 days from home), though regular office collaboration remains important, and full office presence is required during probation. You’ll play an active part in retaining and developing client accounts while growing your technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage renewals, adjustments and new business across mixed commercial lines: strengthen account retention and client trust
• Handle varied risks including PO, PI, EL, fleet, cyber, commercial combined, contractors combined and motor trade: broaden your technical exposure
• Produce and maintain accurate documentation and policy records: support a smooth client experience
• Liaise with insurers and colleagues to secure competitive terms: improve negotiation confidence
• Support wider team operations and contribute to the office’s growth plans: grow your profile within the branch Requirements:
• Background in commercial or SME insurance broking
• Capable of handling a diverse portfolio up to and above £50k GWP
• Strong administrative and client-handling capabilities
• Familiarity with Acturis beneficial but not essential
