Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance/Validation Engineer will assure compliance to ISO
9001, FSSC
22000, USA FDA, individual state, and applicable Canadian HPFBI requirements and conformance to customer quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct LGUS facility audits to measure level of compliance to quality assurance standards.
* Complete medical process and information systems validation projects.
* Ensure that current regulatory requirements are reflected in the Quality Assurance Program.
* Provide QA support for plant personnel, Logistics, Sales, IT, Engineering, etc.
* Perform QA responsibilities, including COC/COA oversight, federal and state licensing requirements, customer correspondence and questionnaires, third party audit responses, and review of facility standard operating procedures.
* Ensure that quality incidents related to customer service, distribution, logistics, and production are investigated to drive process improvements.
* Participate in food and medical related CGA meetings.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
* 5 years Operations experience.
* 3 years Quality Assurance experience.
* ISO
9001 certified auditor and working knowledge of FSSC
22000.
* State medical licensing and FDA registration renewal experience.
* Key elements of success include technical knowledge of the air separation and CO2 process, understanding of applicable regulatory processes, effective interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to travel 20-25%.

Salary:
Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $90k - $132k.
