Responsibilities
As a Construction Laborer, you will support project teams by performing a variety of tasks across active job sites, including:
General Construction Support
- Assist with job setup, preparation, material handling, and clean-up
- Assist with demolition, concrete preparation, carpentry support, and other basic construction activities
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment to keep the job running smoothly
- Operate basic hand tools such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and drills
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
- Help ensure work areas meet safety and cleanliness standards before, during, and after finishing/painting tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
- Report safety, quality, or schedule concerns promptly to project supervisors
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow established safety measures on job sites
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and skilled trades to support project deadlines
- Complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently as assigned
- 1-3 years of experience in construction preferred
- OSHA 10 Hour certification or willingness to obtain after hire
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physical labor in varying conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take direction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the WNY region
