Job Summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RN on our Mother Baby Unit at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility, caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Responsibilities
  • The RN cares for new mothers (post-partum) and infants on the Mother Baby Unit, including post-operative care, medications and treatments, breastfeeding assistance, education, and infant care.
Qualifications

Required

  • RN degree, BSN preferred
  • NJ RN License
  • At least one year of current Mother Baby or acute care experience
  • BLS required (American Heart Association) & NRP

Scheduling Requirements

  • Full Time Night
Essential Functions
  • The RN cares for our New Mom's post-partum and infants on the Mother Baby Unit including post op care, medications and treatments, breastfeeding assistance and education & care of their infant.
