Job Description & Requirements

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of current ICU acute care experience
- Active RN License
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

- Experience with Adults and Peds
-40 bed ICU consisting of CCU, SICU, and MICU. Generally have the same type of patients on all floors, with the exception of CCU with majority of patients are post-cath or cardiac-related issues.
-Required

Experience with Sepsis, ETOH, DKA, Cardiac Stents, GI Bleed, Craniotomy, CVVHD, Balloon Pump, Code Chill, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response skills, PICC line management, Central line care/management, Blood Product Administration, Arterial line management, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Respiratory/Thoracic skills
- May float to units within skillset.
- Patient Mix:
Acute renal failure, GI Surgery, CVAs, TBIs, and vented px…
- Required Exp:
Neuro ICU/SICU, strong EKG skillset, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, TAVI/TAVR, insulin protocols, CVVHD/CRRT, strong IV skillset, lumbar drains, post neuro surgery, EVD, and vents
