Hourly: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour (New Jersey)

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the MICU at Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center is a 592‑bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering world‑class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. • ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

• BLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• BSN or expected completion within 5 years upon hire

• Play a key role in providing patient care under the supervision of doctors
• Perform head‑to‑toe physical examinations, administer medication and provide wound care
• Communicate with families to provide updates on patient condition and assist with medical decisions
• React quickly to emergency situations and demonstrate flexibility in life‑or‑death situations
• Be prepared for overtime or irregular shifts
• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and uphold ANA code of ethics
• Maintain awareness of ethical standards and evidence‑based practice, continuously advancing professional knowledge
• Report safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors
• Understand patient population served and manage delegation of tasks to team members
• Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement
• Lead interdisciplinary team, integrate nursing process to individualize patient care plans
