Job DescriptionOur Field Technicians work hard in often harsh conditions to help people and properties recover from damages caused by disasters. The job requires physical labor, teamwork, reliability, and accountability. Experience in a disaster restoration company is a plus.
Responsibilities- Installing containment and safety mechanisms.
- Installing and monitoring drying equipment/AFDs.
- Providing emergency cleaning and sanitizing services.
- Conducting controlled demolition services.
- Keeping fleet vehicles clean and presentable.
- Conducting preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and company equipment.
- Packing and moving client’s contents / personal property.
- Conducting sales activities as directed by Lead Tech.
- Securing client reviews and supporting positive online rankings.
- Asking for key market segment referrals.
- Placing yard signage.
- Act as of record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work weekends and night hours as needed.
- Experience in disaster restoration preferred.
- IICRC certifications a plus.
- Successful background check.
- Participation in 24‑hour on‑call rotation for emergency assignments.
- Responsiveness to all phone calls during on‑call shift.
The role involves walking, turning, reaching, bending, and manipulating heavy objects. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and lift and move products from trucks and warehouse shelves.
