RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• BLS required. (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Certified nursing assistant preferred.

• Night Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

• The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
• Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions.
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient s care.
• Participating in collaboration of our patient s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
