Title:
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location:
Toms River, NJ
Employment Type:
Contract
Base pay range: $49.00/hr - $70.00/hr
Responsibilities- Provide care for low and high-risk pregnancies
- Manage cases involving VBACs, primary and repeat cesareans
- Handle patients with conditions such as PIH, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes
- Work with a nurse/patient ratio of 1:2
- Float to mother-baby assignments as needed
- Utilize charting systems for patient documentation
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including working every 3rd weekend
- Complete required modules and training pre-start and annually
- Maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements
- 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Active NJ or Compact nursing license
- Certifications:
ACLS, ASHONN Beginner, BLS, NRP required - AWHONN Advanced Or Intermediate Preferred
- Experience with patient charting systems preferred
