Job Overview
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated ED Technician for Community Medical Center (RDU-Emergency Dept). The facility is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care.

Pay Range: $24.39 per hour
Status:
Per Diem
- The ED Technician is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKGs.
- Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
- Contribute to effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient s care.
- Participate in collaboration of the patient s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BLS required (American Heart Association).
Preferred:
- Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Certified nursing assistant preferred.
- Per Diem
