The Counseling Center is a rapidly expanding, leading national substance abuse & mental health organization seeking a Mental Health Counselor for their Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Counseling program. • New patient intake and orientation
• Conduct initial assessment of patient problems and needs and report to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
• Conduct individual sessions
• Facilitate groups with patients
• Address patient’s concerns and help eliminate possibility of AMA
• Provide case management
• Provide tours for prospective patients and their families as requested
• Document in patient medical record

• Must have one of the following licenses: LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW
• Clean, active mental health license or certification
• New graduates welcome
• Experience conducting group sessions
• Flexibility and willingness are great attributes

Per diem

Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
