Front Desk Receptionist – Physical Therapy Office
Toms River, NJ | $17-$25/hr | Full-time, In-Person
Busy outpatient physical therapy office seeking a reliable and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to manage daily patient flow and scheduling. Prior healthcare front desk experience required. PT clinic or therapy-environment exposure strongly preferred.
Office Snapshot- 10-person team | ~60 patients per week
- Reports directly to the doctor
- Mon–Thurs: 8AM–4PM
- Fri: 8AM–2/3PM
- Flexibility to stay until 5–5:30PM when needed
- Patient check-in and intake
- Scheduling and appointment management
- Insurance verification (Medicare + major carriers)
- EMR use (Net Health/Prompt a plus)
- Communication with therapists and staff
- 2+ years medical front desk experience
- Strong insurance verification skills
- PT or rehab setting experience preferred
- Dependable, organized, patient-focused
- 15–16 paid observed holidays
- Thanksgiving, Christmas + 7 PTO days
- No health insurance or 401(k)**
