This Debit Card Representative’s position responsibilities include ensuring optimum service levels are met, adhering to all operating policies, procedures and regulations for debit card processing.

• Process all dispute requests in accordance with Regulation E and the Visa/Master Card rules.
• Maintain working knowledge of all Visa/Master Card and Regulation E rule changes, as well as all Fiserv procedural changes.
• Work in conjunction with Security to institute fraud detection and prevention methods.
• Review and work the daily reports for Enfact fraud detection programme.
• Prepare daily/monthly general ledger reconciliations in accordance with the Bank’s proof policy.
• Handle the processing of daily rejected debit card items.
• Analyse disputes for fraud patterns and make decisions on disputes, determining if it should be written off or have a chargeback submitted.
• Perform entry of debit card maintenance.
• Assist internal customers with debit card inquiries and provide guidance to branches with ATM out of proof situations.
• May assist with merger reports, conversions, special projects and card reissues associated with the debit card.
• Review all daily debit card reports from Director.
• Prepare daily proof verifying that Fiserv/Data Processor received and posted all debit card transactions and ATM files.
• Maintain a working relationship with Fiserv/Data Processor and Visa/Master Card.
• Attend Fiserv/Data Processor and Visa seminars to stay current with rules governing debit card processing.
• Process return mail of debit cards, and all pull card requests.
• Understand compliance with all regulations governing the banking industry, as well as agency guidelines and organisation policies.
• Understand the compliance requirements for Bankcard Services to ensure files are maintained in accordance with regulations.

• Working knowledge and understanding of the debit card servicing process.
• Knowledge of applicable processing systems such as Fiserv/Premier and Client‑Workstation.
• Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; staying up to date with any changes.
• Able to communicate clearly and accurately in verbal and written formats with the ability to interact in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external personnel at all levels.
• Solid analytical reasoning along with problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and thorough follow‑up skills.
• Ability to organise time and resources and set priorities to accomplish multiple duties.
