RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Emergency Medicine Attending to join the Observation Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.

, is seeking a board-certified/eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the Observation Unit/Rapid Decision Unit (RDU) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.

Responsibilities involve the delivery of clinical services exclusively in the 15 Bed Observation Unit/Rapid Decision Unit (RDU).

This 339-bed, fully accredited acute care community hospital provides comprehensive care services. The Emergency Department at RWJUH-Somerset has 42 ED Beds, including a fast-track area and an 8-bed emergent psychiatric unit, treating over 50,000 patients annually.

RWJUH-Somerset is embarking on a 76,000-square-foot vertical expansion project to include an Orthopedic Center of Excellence and a 35-bed inpatient unit with all-private rooms and a rehabilitation gym.

Our robust team is comprised of experienced physicians, skilled advanced practice providers, and dedicated scribes. This is an excellent opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team that aims to provide high-level care at a community hospital.

Located in the heart of the Garden State, Somerville is surrounded by suburban neighborhoods with great schools and downtowns. It is just a short drive to New York City or the Jersey Shore beaches and boardwalks.

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong clinical background
• 2+ years of clinical experience is preferred
