RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently recruiting a full-time, non-operative Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician (PCSM) to support Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care while serving both orthopedic and community health populations.
The selected physician will split time between:
- Jersey Shore Orthopedic practice (50%) – managing non-surgical musculoskeletal patient volume, improving access, and enhancing patient outcomes in collaboration with our orthopedic team.
- CHEMED – Center for Health Education, Medicine and Dentistry (50%) – a Federally Qualified Health Center in Lakewood, NJ providing comprehensive medical and dental care to a diverse community.
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $259,000 to $434,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience

Candidate Requirements:
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Fellowship-trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
