Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Office Manager for our private multispecialty practice (not DSO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of dental office management experience. They will possess the ability to manage an office with 4-5 doctors and 8-10 staff, ensuring smooth operations, a productive schedule for doctors, and excellent patient flow.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the dental office, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
- Coordinate and maintain the staff schedule, optimizing efficiency and ensuring adequate coverage.
- Oversee a diverse team of 8-10 staff members, providing leadership, mentorship, and support.
- Maintain a productive schedule for doctors, optimizing patient flow and minimizing wait times.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Foster a growth mentality within the team, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
- Fostering positive relationships and open communication.
- Wear multiple hats as needed to support the needs of the office and ensure its success.
- Communicate necessary information to assist patients with their dental insurance and their ledger/account.
- Assist with financial arrangement for unpaid patient balances.
- Able to coordinate and understand financial arrangements for patient account.
- Review and audit Dental Claims.
- Track errors and work with providers to get corrected and sent.
- Send claims and pre-estimates for patients.
- Assist Treatment Coordinators including but not limited to:
Insurance verifications, pre estimates, research patient billing concerns, and other insurance issues. - Remain up-to-date on daily, weekly, and monthly reports including but not limited to Aging report, Unattached insurance claims, Secondary insurance claims, Uncreated clams, etc.
- Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in dental office management, with a proven track record of success.
- Proficiency in practice management software; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace and professionalism.
Full-time.
PayCommensurate with experience
Expected hours40 per week.
Schedule- 8 hour shift.
