Admin Assistant, Office Administrator/ Coordinator

You can apply for multiple FWS Student Worker positions, but you can only hold one position for Spring semester. Most positions listed below are 20 hours per week, unless otherwise noted. (This is the maximum hours allowed for a position).
General Positions:Athletic Department Student Attendant (5 available, 20hrs/wk) This position assists with athletic events in various positions, covers the main office, prepares the fitness room for campus use, among other related duties. Requirements:
Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, extended work days and/or consecutive work days (not exceeding 20hrs/wk); familiarity with sports preferred.
Campus Life Assistant (4 available, 20hrs/wk) This position helps the Student Life staff by working in the student center box office and the Helping Hands food pantry. This position will greet visitors, answer phones and check email inboxes, help students locate items in the pantry, and sell tickets and merch in the box office. Requirements:
Customer service skills, verbal and written communication.
Career Services Customer Assistant (1 available, 10hrs/wk) This position provides front‑line support to help students access career resources; schedules appointments; and assists with event planning, marketing, and preparation. Expected work hours are 10hrs/week. Requirements: MS Office skills, customer service skills.
Career Services Clerical Assistant (1 available, 10hrs/wk) This position provides clerical support to the Career Services office by editing Excel spreadsheets, updating the employer database, and checking Career Services email, among other duties. Expected work hours are 10hrs/week. Requirements:
Basic Excel skills, ability to maintain confidentiality. This role requires business casual attire.
Digital Media Assistant (1 available, 20hrs/wk) This position assists the Social Media Coordinator in developing social media campaigns and materials, attends and covers events for social media, assists the Website Coordinator with quality control and testing, and serves on the Viking Influencer Program Advisory Council. Requirements:
Video and photography skills, experience with social media platforms, verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop collaborative relationships. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva a plus.
Enrollment Services Student Ambassador (3 available, 20hrs/wk) This position assists current and future OCC students in the HUB lobby and provides backup for HUB technicians, leads campus tours, and provides customer service through a variety of mediums. Requirements:
Familiarity with MS Office, outgoing personality, clear writing skills.
Financial Aid Office Assistant (3 available, 20hrs/wk) This position assists families with FAFSA completion, communicates via phone call to families about important deadlines, and serves as a first point of contact for visitors to the Financial Aid office. Requirements: MS Office skills, customer service skills, ability to maintain confidentiality.
Human Resources Office Assistant (1 available, 20hrs/wk) This position helps support the Human Resources Office by performing basic front office tasks, such as greeting visitors to the office, answering phones, and assisting with booking rooms for employee training sessions. They will also provide technical assistance to new employees and applicants, among other tasks. Business students preferred.
Hyflex Navigator (2 available, 15hrs/wk) This position provides support to both students and professors by setting up and managing Web Ex and other related technology in the classroom. This is an on‑campus position, not a remote position. Requirements:
