Accounts Payable Specialist (12-Week Temporary Assignment)
Location: Toms River, NJ
Schedule: Onsite

Pay Range: $21–$26/hour (depending on experience)

A well‑established non‑profit organization within healthcare and human services seeks a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary assignment. The role focuses on bank reconciliations and accounts payable licensed processing in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Process and record vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Assist with month‑ Oku end close activities, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations related to cash, payables, and accrual النباتات.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances identified during reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate, organized, audit‑ready financial records.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice or payment inquiries.
- Support the Accounting Manager with ad‑hoc reporting, audits, and special projects.
- 1+ year of hands‑on accounting experience focused on AP and bank reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and month‑end close processes.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliation worksheets).
- Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or human services أمر.
