Position: Accounts Payable Specialist (12-Week Temporary Assignment)

Accounts Payable Specialist (12-Week Temporary Assignment)

Location: Toms River, NJ

Schedule: Onsite

Duration: 12 Weeks (potential extension)

Pay Range: $21–$26/hour (depending on experience)

A well‑established non‑profit organization within healthcare and human services seeks a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary assignment. The role focuses on bank reconciliations and accounts payablelicensed processing in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
  • Process and record vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Assist with month‑ Oku end close activities, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations related to cash, payables, and accrual النباتات.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances identified during reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, audit‑ready financial records.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice or payment inquiries.
  • Support the Accounting Manager with ad‑hoc reporting, audits, and special projects.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of hands‑on accounting experience focused on AP and bank reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and month‑end close processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliation worksheets).
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or human services أمر.

  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
