Job Summary

The Technician I will perform diversified tasks relating to product assembly/generation, including repair, troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic and/or mechanical systems, as well as installing, maintaining and monitoring the technologies used. Technicians ensure the efficient and safe operation of the systems.

Qualifications
  • Technical diploma or 1 year of experience with industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Technical aptitude and system understanding.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and trade/technical school diploma, or 1 year related experience in any one of four vocations:
    Mechanical, Electrical, Drilling Systems or Electronics.
Language Skills
  • Fluent in English. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
  • General knowledge of word processing software and E-Mail messaging, and an all around general knowledge of computer operations is advantageous.

  • Valid Driver's License.
