Regional Vice President (RVP) – Greater Houston
The Regional Vice President (RVP) is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the performance, growth, and clinical quality across multiple clinics in the Greater Houston area. This role will own the P&L and partner closely with senior executives and functional teams to drive operational excellence, enhance the patient and employee experience, and lead with integrity and compassion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business strategy execution across markets with a focus on patient experience, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and clinical excellence.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability with physicians, care teams, and corporate partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Marketing, Clinical, Finance, IT, etc.) to deliver aligned, consistent operational outcomes.
- Oversee clinic and lab performance, facility planning, new service implementation, and budget adherence.
- Continuously improve key patient and employee experience metrics (e.g., Medallia, Rater8, clinical KPIs).
- Manage physician recruitment and support onboarding and retention of leadership talent.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, while promoting best practices in quality and safety.
- Champion a culture of innovation, compassion, and continuous improvement across the region.
- Act with integrity, transparency, and respect in all decisions and relationships.
- Model emotional professionalism, empathy, and grace in all interactions.
- Make collaborative decisions that strengthen team relationships and cross‑functional success.
- Lead by example, inspiring excellence, ownership, and accountability at all levels.
- Prioritize safety, compliance, and ethical standards in all aspects of operations.
- Mentor, coach, and support the growth of direct reports and clinic leaders.
- Participate in hiring, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
- Set strategic direction in alignment with company goals, while supporting daily operational needs.
- Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff and executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required). Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in a medical office or multi‑site healthcare environment.
- Proven track record of improving clinical operations, patient experience, and financial performance.
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.) and payer dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in cross‑functional leadership, physician relations, and team development.
- Strategic thinker with strong operational and financial acumen.
- Outstanding communicator, with the ability to lead through influence.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving organizational change.
- Proficient with EMRs, reporting tools, and healthcare business software.
- High emotional intelligence and commitment to people‑first leadership.
