- Starting Pay: $18 per hr. Guaranteed increases within the first 3 years with our step increase program
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.
As a Warehouse Worker you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions within our warehouse.
Responsibilities- Perform general warehouse duties such as forklift put‑away, let‑downs, will‑call selection, returns, sanitation, break‑down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
- Keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean. Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Daily safety check of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
- Perform damage control checks on items received and contact supervisor for removal according to company policy.
- Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist. Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
- Review work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
- Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
- Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- 6+ months of experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, replenish product from various heights weighing between 10‑35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60‑90 pounds, depending on location, throughout shift
- Able to work in multi‑temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
- Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- Food service distribution or related industry experience
