We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Production Quality Supervisor to oversee and manage the quality team on the production floor of the plant. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all production processes and outputs meet the highest quality standards while adhering to regulatory requirements and company objectives. This position requires strong leadership, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of Quality Coordinators and Specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and performance‑driven culture within the quality team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and address concerns.
- Oversee quality control checks and inspections on the production floor to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Monitor production processes and workflows to identify and address quality issues proactively.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality discrepancies.
- Implement strategies with market price trends to minimize risks of obsolescence and over‑stocking.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, certifications, and regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA, environmental standards).
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assessments, audits, and compliance reports.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external auditors during quality inspections.
- Regularly report quality metrics, issues, and progress to senior management.
- Serve as a point of contact for quality‑related concerns from the production team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align quality objectives with production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a quality assurance/control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment (solar manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Proven experience managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiar with the daily workflow of the quality department.
- 2+ years’ experience working in the solar energy industry, particularly with solar modules or photovoltaic systems.
- Familiarity with solar module manufacturing processes, performance testing, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of U.S. energy regulations and compliance requirements for solar technologies.
- Certifications in solar energy technologies or project management (e.g., NABCEP, PMP).

CompensationThe range for this position is $80,750.00 - $ assuming full‑time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
