Desert Chillers is hiring a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Controls Technician to support a working produce packing facility in Tolleson, AZ.
This role focuses on electrical maintenance, automation support, and troubleshooting for packing equipment and facility systems. We are looking for someone with a strong industrial electrical background who is comfortable working in a live production environment.
What You’ll Do- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment
- Support automated packing and conveying systems
- Assist with PLC-controlled equipment (troubleshooting and basic modifications)
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to keep production running
- Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Industrial electrical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food, or agricultural environment
- Exposure to automation or PLC-controlled systems (hands-on troubleshooting experience preferred)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and grow with a developing operation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required
- Full-time, onsite position
