Maintenance Rendering Supervisor 1st Shift
Location:
Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Responsibilities- Supervise and perform diversified duties with respect to production and facility equipment/systems.
- Supervise and install replacement motors, pumps, drives, belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves on process equipment, facility equipment, and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic machine problems and make necessary repairs.
- Perform repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement, and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
- Weld machine components.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on facility equipment.
- Handle installations, including hooking up air, water, gas, and aligning and leveling equipment.
- In electrical emergencies, hook up and start generation system safely.
- Maintain the WWPT facility to operate within parameters safely.
- Resolve all maintenance and mechanical problems promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Provide leadership for maintenance technicians performing preventive maintenance, equipment installs, parts replacement, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Manage service and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment such as condensing units, compressors, and evaporators.
- Manage outside contractors to perform repairs on failed machinery and equipment.
- Understand the tools and equipment needed for each job and determine when and what type of maintenance is needed.
- Determine causes of operating errors and anticipate potential downtime.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, mark defective areas, or advise supervisor of repair needs.
- Lead equipment installations, including hooking up air, water, gas, and aligning and leveling equipment.
- Complete maintenance record keeping, update maintenance history logs, and complete required paperwork.
- Account for equipment used for maintenance and repairs.
- Follow company GMPs policy and safety rules.
- May be required to work long hours and weekends as needed and assume other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, PLC, and HVAC experience.
- AAS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong math skills.
- Well‑organized with good attention to detail.
- Display strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and collaborate with others.
- Maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.
