Pay Range$19-20.50 per hour on W2
Job Description- This role is accountable for performing daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier related communications for multiple Owens Corning manufacturing facilities, creating solutions that are in the best interest of the customer.
- The Transportation Service Specialist will assign daily freight to the Owens Corning carrier base to meet delivery dates of customer orders in a cost-effective manner.
- They will also collaborate with Customers, Carriers, Manufacturing Facilities, Customer Service Specialists, Logistics Analyst, Material Planners and other organizations as necessary to identify and troubleshoot issues to ultimately deliver our product on-time and damage free.
- High school degree
- Fluency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- A high degree of professionalism
