This position is an activity-based pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency and a strong work ethic. Drivers average $72,000 a year.

+ Live load/unload per stop: $51

+ Hazmat per load: $25

+ Refrigerated per load: $30

+ Border crossing per load: $75

+ Crosstown per load: $20

+ Driver assist per load: $25

+ Empty move per load: $20

+ Empty search per hour: $15

+ Equipment cleaning per hour: $20

+ Mechanical breakdown per hour: $20

+ Rail delay per hour: $20 after 1 hour

+ Refused delivery per load: $33

+ Truck order not used: $20

+ Waiting on truck per hour: $20

+ Spotting per hour: $15

+ Yard checks per hour: $15

+ Safety training pay per hour: $15

+ New hire training pay per hour: $20

+ Holiday pay per day: $200

+ Mandatory meeting per hour: $20

+ Layover: $200 flat rate

+ Driver trainer pay per day: $35
