Job Summary
This position is for an Armed Driver/Messenger at Garda World’s Cash Services Headquarters. The role involves safe and efficient transportation of valuable items using armored vehicles, with a $3,000 sign‑on bonus available for candidates holding an Active Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) certification. The hourly pay ranges from $19.25 to $21.25 based on qualifications and experience.

The armored driver/messenger will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables, including:
- Operating armored vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Performing heavy lifting (50 lbs+).
- Issuing and receiving confirmation receipts for each transfer.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and providing excellent customer service.
- Following all safety protocols and staying vigilant to protect customers, colleagues, and the community.
- Adhering to the highest levels of driver safety and security at all times.
- 21 years of age or older with a valid and clean driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits/licenses as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication in person and by radio.
- Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs+.
