Fire Alarm & Suppression Technician Level II
We are looking for a fire alarm and suppression Level II who has a passion for the customer and life safety. The ideal candidate has experience in the fire protection industry and can successfully perform inspections, installation, testing, service and repairs of fire alarm systems, engineered and pre‑engineered suppression systems, and ensure compliance with applicable life‑safety standards, codes, and manufacturer, federal, state and local requirements.

- Perform installation, inspection and testing of all types of fire alarm and engineered and pre‑engineered suppression systems at required frequencies in accordance with NFPA codes and standards
- Program, test, perform final inspections, create as‑built drawings and provide customer training for installations; troubleshoot and perform service and repair of systems
- Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations electronically or manually
- Maintain a positive relationship with the customer and pass on information for follow‑up, quotes, questions or concerns
- Maintain vehicle, equipment and tools; keep vehicle stocked with parts and supplies
- Evaluate customer sites for additional equipment and services the customer may require
- Work in compliance with the company's safety program
- Provide on‑site and/or phone emergency troubleshooting of systems
- Discuss deficiencies with customer, explaining problems and resolutions
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required; discuss scheduling with manager
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, lifts or in confined spaces
- Minimum of 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience, including at least 12 months of fire alarm system experience (installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, estimating, plans, maintenance)
- Ability to perform basic math (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Outlook, industry software)
- Knowledge of low‑voltage wiring and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- 2–5 years of experience with fire alarm and suppression systems
- NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems
- State license in the relevant state
- Experience with electrical wiring and circuitry

Working Conditions &Physical Requirements
Overtime may be required; hours vary by location. Work environments may be hot or cold, dusty, and may require overnight travel. Must lift up to 50 pounds, use ladders, climb, and drive. Personal protective equipment must be worn per safety standards.
