Sales Representative, Business Development
Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is one of the largest independent Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC distributors in America. We are looking for a Sales and Project Coordinator to add to our growing team at our Sandusky location.
Job Title:
Sales and Pricing Coordinator
Reports to:
Branch Manager
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM
Summary of
Job Duties:
- Assist with responsibilities associated with the Inside Sales & Quotations department
- Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Manage assigned accounts and update related customer support files
- Maintain regular contact with assigned account contacts
- Keep detailed call logs and discuss sales activity with the Branch Manager
- Communicate with suppliers to discuss material specifications, clarify information, negotiate pricing, and identify alternatives
- Associate all cost information within time frame of bid date and time needed by contractors, sales staff, and management
- Educate customers on available products, features, and promotions with the intent to sell
- Answer customer questions and process orders, returns, and credits
- Maintain familiarity with product catalogue for the ability to promote additional/ alternate items
- Promote and explain special promotions, spiffs, or programs
- Communicate with customers on account status changes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines; purchasing notes, flyers, and trade magazines.
- Attend product training seminars and required meetings
- Research items or delivery dates by contacting reps, consulting catalogs, and other product literature
- Develop pricing quotes
- Provide additional support for customer orders as needed
Job Requirements/Expectations:
- Strong Customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- 3 + years of previous sales experience
- Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC industry
- Excellent organizational.
- Ability to successfully multi-task.
- Ability to work independently on a variety of responsibilities.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Good follow-up skills.
- High School diploma.
