Asset Protection Associate – Westfield @ Franklin Park Job Summary

Supports Shrinkage and Safety Awareness programs by assisting Store Management in communicating current shrinkage and safety topics.

• Conduct surveillance of customers and contractors (CCTV/floor) to detect theft, fraud or suspicious activity, collect investigative intelligence related to ORC activity, and report infractions of company policy to Asset Protection and/or store management.
• Detain and interview suspects in accordance with local laws and company policy, and report suspected fraud to Asset Protection management or Market Investigations as needed.
• Maintain records: create and manage records using approved company methods, keep proper evidence retention and disposition of recovered merchandise.
• Participate in court hearings, update necessary files and maintain relationships with local law enforcement.
• Support safety programs: identify and address potential hazards.characters, correct minor hazards, conduct incident investigations and complete associated reports.
• Support internal investigations: take direction from Asset Protection management to collect evidence regarding internal investigations and act as an interview witness as needed.
