Role Overview

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience. You'll assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, guiding customers through their beauty journey. Sally Beauty provides training—you bring passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and highlight sales/promotions.
• Ensure customers are enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
• Work flexible schedules to meet business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to meet scheduling needs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to apply product knowledge.
• Ability to read and explain labels.
• Follow directions and perform duties as assigned.

Additional Information

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally using ladders.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors.

The role involves physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Work around moving parts and chemicals may occur.
