What will you do?
The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) position is part of the Nursing team within the Division of Residential Resources. The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) will work on-site with the Nursing Department at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center in Toledo, OH. Some of the duties include:
- Assess/evaluate nursing & medical needs of individuals living at the developmental center
- Direct/implement nursing care plan
- Observe, evaluate, & record patient behavior, condition & response to medication & treatments
- Coordinate clinical & medical appointments
- Provide professional nursing care
- Assists in feeding and grooming individuals
- Respond to emergencies
- Monitor LPN medication administration, documentation, individual care, etc.
- Serve on interdisciplinary treatment team

QualificationsRequires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.

$34.96 per hour with the first increase in 180 days to $36.65
Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
Additional $3.50 per hour for assigned 2nd and 3rd shift
Additional hourly recruitment supplement $5.24 per hour
Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service
RNs can receive Cost of Living increases every July 1st per the current 1199 bargaining unit contract.
