The University of Toledo Physicians (UTP) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology
. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide OB/prenatal care and gynecologic coverage within a collaborative, academic, and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, teamwork, and the professional fulfillment of academic medicine.
As a member of the Department of OBGYN, you will provide high-quality outpatient care within Ruppert Health Center
, our multidisciplinary academic clinic. You will collaborate with a supportive team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and administrative staff, contributing to exceptional patient care, care coordination, and medical education
.
- 100% Outpatient
- Work alongside a team of 2 Physicians and 1 APP
- Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Master’s degree in the appropriate field
- State of Ohio licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Acute Care certification required for Nurse Practitioners
- Certificate of Authority (COA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing or Ohio State Medical Board
- BLS certification
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Certificate to Prescribe and DEA registration
