The Foundation seeks a skilled and collaborative Senior Advisor to join its newly created Center for Philanthropy. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional organization at a moment of strategic clarity and momentum.

Position SummaryThe Senior Advisor is responsible for advancing the Foundation’s philanthropic growth by building and managing relationships with high-capacity individuals, families and prospective donors. This role focuses on cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major and planned gifts while helping donors achieve meaningful, strategic impact in the community.
The Senior Advisor manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, leads complex philanthropic conversations, collaborates with professional advisors and contributes directly to the Foundation’s fundraising and asset growth goals.
Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of approximately 100–150 high-capacity donors and prospects.
- Conduct donor discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship with defined revenue goals.
- Develop and implement individualized engagement strategies using moves management principles.
- Secure major gifts, new charitable funds, and legacy commitments.
- Identify planned giving opportunities and collaborate with internal partners on gift structuring and documentation.
- Guide donors through complex philanthropic decisions aligned with their values and the Foundation’s mission.
- Facilitate family meetings and multi-generational philanthropic discussions.
- Support next-generation engagement and long-term family giving strategies.
- Translate donor interests into actionable grantmaking and impact opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and wealth managers.
- Participate in advisor-led donor meetings as appropriate.
- Represent the Foundation in professional and community settings to expand awareness and referrals.
- Partner with internal teams to develop donor-facing impact narratives, reports, and updates.
- Contribute to Foundation-wide fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and strategic priorities.
- Actively participate in team planning, forecasting, and performance review processes.
