Description:
Responsible for directing the entire marketing function, including evaluating, developing, and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand management, go-to market strategy, digital marketing, content strategy, campaigns, analytics, and team development, ensuring alignment with the organization’s business goals. This role leads the development and execution of growth-focused marketing strategies that fuel pipeline generation, revenue expansion, and increased market share. Directs and oversees communications activities associated with marketing and public relations to effectively describe and promote the organization and its services through various types of media.
Success in this role will drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and lead the marketing strategy to support revenue goals, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that support business growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning.
- Align marketing efforts with business development, capture planning, and client engagement strategies.
- Define and manage marketing KPIs focused on growth—qualified leads, brand reach, proposal support, and ROI.
- Research trends in the industry and activities of competitors, evaluate various inputs, and adjust the organization's marketing and communication plans accordingly.
- Elevate brand visibility and reputation within target markets.
- Develop strategy to promote thought leadership content (white papers, webinars, case studies, speaking engagements) to showcase technical expertise and innovation.
- Contribute to strategies to enhance the RFP/RFQ submissions process with compelling content and visuals.
- Implement marketing automation and CRM tools to track engagement and refine outreach.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.
- Oversee website optimization, SEO, and digital lead generation strategies.
- Maintain a pulse on market and industry trends to analyze information to develop recommendations and strategies to support company goals through market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Define GTM Go-to-Market strategies for new features and products across customer segments.
- Drive email, social, and content marketing programs that align with client acquisition and retention goals.
- Develop and maintain a strong library of project profiles, team bios, and technical assets to streamline proposal process and responses to sales opportunities.
- Support participation in industry associations, speaking engagements, and award submissions.
- Manage the marketing budget to maximize impact, efficiency, and strategic investment.
- Ensure brand consistency across all materials, platforms, and communications.
- Provides management oversight of the marketing department staff to ensure a high level of execution through delegating, monitoring assignments and projects, mentoring, motivating, planning, and appraising work performance.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to C-level executives.

Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, finance, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred. - 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in the professional services or engineering/technical sectors.
- Demonstrated success in marketing-led growth, demand generation, and industry brand building.
- Experience supporting business development teams and technical proposal efforts.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong data analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ability to work under pressure, effectively multitasking and managing to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
