Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Location:
Toledo, Ohio. Full‑time position.
Hours:
Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (1st Shift). Eligible for a relocation bonus for non‑Ohio residents.

- Perform simple‑to‑complex duties to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
- Provide assistance for emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Perform electrical duties including PLCs, reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics; working with 120 V, äpp, 220 V, 480 V and 13.8 k V circuits; installing/repairing and troubleshooting starters, relays, switches, proximity circuits, variable frequency drives (VFD), contractors and input/output circuits.
- Perform mechanical tasks—including hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform simple‑to‑complex fabrication projects, typically involving welding components together.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Perform aerial tasks using scissor lifts, baskets and booms.
- Use hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
- Detect faulty operations and report defective material or unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
- Authority to stop production in unsafe conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Complete pre‑employment screening (background check and drug test).
- Ability to work overtime, including daily, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in industrial maintenance.
- 5+ years progressive industrial experience in electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Report to work on time to support production start‑up.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Capability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Team player with good communication and basic math skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
