General Summary
Oversees all aspects of radiology services. Provides guidance and leadership to the clinic and strives to maintain an excellent public image of the Toledo Clinic. Works under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesAll radiology services leads and staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
- Operational Leadership:
Manage daily operations across modalities (e.g., X‑ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, nuclear medicine), ensuring safety and efficiency. - Staff Management:
Lead hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes for radiology staff. - Equipment Oversight:
Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, service contracts, and procurement of radiology equipment. - Quality & Compliance:
Implement and monitor quality assurance, radiation safety, and accreditation efforts to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., ACR, ODH). - Financial Management:
Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets; monitor expenditures and pursue cost‑efficiencies. - Strategic Development:
Collaborate with Administration leadership and cross‑functional teams on service‑line strategy, process improvement, and technology integration. - Customer Relations:
Address patient inquiries or complaints, liaise with physicians, participate in community or board meetings, and promote the department's image. - Marketing:
In conjunction with the Director of Marketing, develop marketing initiatives to promote the service line. - Revenue Cycle Management:
Financial oversight of coding, charge entry, and billing workflows of the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
- Completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Adheres to and upholds all clinic policies and procedures.
- Possesses five years of leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Has previous supervisory experience.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co‑workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
- Business Administration degree a plus, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Five years of business management experience in a radiology service line.
