Financial Manager
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and Legends Global policies and procedures.
- Monitors Legends Global compliance with all financial provisions of the management contract.
- Maintains contact with Legends Global's Risk Management Department as needed and coordinates appropriate coverage by filling out applications and maintaining a relationship with our local broker.
- Reviews all contracts for events prior to billing or preparing settlements; reviews contracts for the General Manager when needed for various items.
- Reviews and/or prepares event settlements.
- Reviews and/or executes all checks and deposits and reviews daily cash receipts and disbursements.
- Monitors and projects daily cash flow and invests excess cash as needed via sweep account, if applicable.
- Reviews all purchasing of capital assets, office supplies and facility supplies by signing purchase requisitions prior to purchase of item.
- Develops and implements all financial reporting, including preparing financial statements for the Client and Legends Global Corporate and other reports such as monthly statements, rolling forecasts, Annual Budgets and year‑end closeout.
- Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
- Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
- Analyzes financial performance and cost analyses for all departments; prepares monthly financial statements and recommends appropriate actions/changes to meet business goals.
- Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
- Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls when necessary.
- Coordinates preparation of Client or external audit materials and financial reporting and implements recommendations of Client as requested.
- Coordinates year‑end report of fiscal performance for the General Manager's report.
- Directs the installation and maintenance of any new accounting, time‑keeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
- Reviews financial statements with management personnel.
- Participates in union labor contract administration and maintains an effective working relationship with union representatives when asked by the General Manager.
- Manages the Finance and Box Office departments, providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units; performs supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning, leading work direction, appraising and rewarding/correcting performance, disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources, and addressing employee complaints and/or issues with an appropriate resolution.

- B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four‑year college or university
