Job summary:
Acrisure is seeking a Sr. Account Manager to join our growing team. The Sr. Account Manager is the primary day-to-day contact for all service needs for both external and internal customers. They are accountable for facilitating team service deliverables and managing accurate, efficient, and effective responses. This role requires subject matter expertise in client services and coordination, accurate insurance processing and customer experience delivery.
- Manage the overall team operations, client coordination, and customer service delivery, including coordinating, coaching, and prioritization with Account Associates and reviewing workload.
- Leverage knowledge in client services, insurance processing, and customer experience to develop, coach, and assist Account Associates and other team members.
- Assist Producers and Account Executives with client service commitments.
- Ensure service standards are met, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Serve as the day-to-day customer contact, troubleshoot issues, and help clients make well-informed decisions.
- Manage the new business and renewal process, and oversee day-to-day client changes.
- Be accountable for client service delivery through high/retained client relationships, referrals, and smooth renewals.
- Send pre-renewal information within service standards and follow up for timely responses from clients and insurance markets for quotes.
- Manage renewal marketing plans with Producers and Service Teams and ensure plan execution; create accurate proposals/deliverables for renewal meetings.
- Review quotes for accuracy against supporting documents; negotiate coverage/price with underwriters.
- Complete renewal bind processes and checklists promptly and document all renewals.
- Document files comprehensively to minimize E&O exposure and ensure quick responses to client requests.
- Current Insurance License in Property & Casualty and/or Health & Life for the state of the agency office.
- Ability to pursue professional designation.
- Comfort with electronic environments and strong computer skills; proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent people, verbal, and written communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma (college preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the insurance industry or related business experience.
