We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IBM i Operations Administrator to join our Corporate Information Services team. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of IBM i systems and Power Systems hardware, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

• Administer and maintain IBM i systems, including Power Systems hardware.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Apply patches, updates, and perform system upgrades.
• Manage user profiles, permissions, and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements.
• Ensure system security and compliance with Crown’s IT policies.
• Document procedures and maintain system logs.
• Provide second-level support for IBM i-related incidents.

Required:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience/knowledge in IBM i.
• Working knowledge of IBM i OS, CL commands, and system navigation.
• Familiarity with IBM HMC, SAN storage, and backup solutions.
• Experience with IBM Power 9 or newer systems.
• Proficiency in IBM SEA software, Mimix, Turnover, and Halcyon (or similar software).
• Experience with scripting language (CL).
