Position Summary

The Technology Solutions Consultant at Virtual Technologies Group (VTG) is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing client relationships by delivering tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions. This role combines consultative sales, technical understanding, and relationship management to help organizations strengthen their technology environments. The consultant works closely with clients to assess needs, present solutions, and guide them through the decision‑making process while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation.

This position requires a motivated, detail‑oriented professional who can operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently achieve sales targets in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Experience selling IT or cybersecurity products or services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present solutions clearly to clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Share Point
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Michigan
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and managed services
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Experience managing client relationships in a B2B environment
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to seek feedback and pursue professional development
  • Motivated, ambitious, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
