Cardiology Outpatient Coordinator – Hospital Staff (Full‑time, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm)
The outpatient nurse coordinator for cardiac rehabilitation is responsible for patient evaluation, disposition and decision‑making in coordinating and rendering professional nursing care to adult patients with cardiovascular disease. This nursing staff member coordinates the individual treatment plan (ITP) for patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation therapies.
Minimum Qualifications- Current nursing license in the State of Ohio
- Three (3) years’ clinical experience in the care of patients with cardiovascular disease
- Certified in BCLS and ACLS
Required Communication and Other
Skills:
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills in patient education and counseling
- Competent in performing a cardiovascular and pulmonary history and physical exam
- Competent in quickly recognizing, identifying and treating abnormal EKGs and cardiac dysrhythmias
