Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with on-call requirements

• Operating room nursing experience required in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and hybrid vascular surgery

• Perform scrub duties during surgical procedures under direct supervision of physician and circulating registered nurse

• 13-week assignment duration

• Local candidates accepted at same rate

• Demonstrate clinical competency in caring for patients across all age groups: infants, children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and dying patients

• Recognize clinical and comfort needs of special populations including bariatric, pediatric, and MRDD patients

• Exercise critical thinking skills in clinical situations

• Perform procedures consistent with approved nursing practices and demonstrate proper use of equipment/devices

• Administer medications appropriately and maintain awareness of effects

• Implement current medical regimens while ensuring patient safety

• Complete hospital-required and unit-specific competency requirements
