This Administrative Assistant I will primarily support the department chair, as well as the associate chair, undergraduate director, and graduate director in the Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) Department in the College of Engineering. This position provides essential information and services related to the administrative operations of the office, including but not limited to greeting visitors, answering all inquiries, assisting with review of department webpages and managing the department’s social media presence, processing employment paperwork, scheduling meetings, and serving on departmental committees.
This position is also responsible for maintaining department records, equipment, and supplies. This position requires accuracy, a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and independent judgment.
