Job DescriptionThe Radiation Therapist 2 is a senior‑level clinical professional who delivers high‑quality radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and treatment plans. This role requires advanced clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of the radiation therapy. The radiation therapist 2 serves as a mentor to junior staff, ensures compliance with safety protocols, and may assist in education, training, and coordination of treatment planning.
Performs CT simulations as ordered by the physician.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
- ARRT certification and current state licensure
- Minimum five (5) years experience in radiation therapy including CT simulation
- Strong knowledge of treatment planning systems, EMR systems (e.g., ARIA, EPIC), and modern radiation therapy techniques (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, DIBH)
- BLS/CPR certified
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
