We are seeking a professional to play a critical role in understanding, analyzing, and improving the company's margin performance. This position involves cross-functional collaboration with various departments to deliver actionable insights into volume and margin performance.
Key Responsibilities- Review new sales quotes for cost and margin accuracy
- Analyze daily sales and margin reports, focusing on underperforming areas
- Conduct root cause analysis on margin variances
- Collaborate with teams to develop margin improvement plans
- Become an expert in BI and ERP tools for margin analysis
- Prepare and present weekly margin performance reports
- Analyze commodity price impacts on margins
- Support risk management activities with data and reporting
- Work with BI team to develop new reporting tools
This role contributes to company profitability through:
- Quote margin vs. realized margin analysis
- Monitoring margin variance against targets
- Identifying and recovering margin leakage
- Improving margins for targeted parts and customers
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in pricing, procurement, or finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- ERP system experience (INVEX is a plus)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance detailed analysis with high-level strategy
