We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (E&I) with a strong Electrical and Instrumentation (E/I) background to lead industrial construction projects in Toledo, Ohio. This role requires hands‑on oversight of E/I execution, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and full responsibility for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage construction activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems across the project lifecycle.
- Drive project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and execution for all E/I scope.
- Ensure alignment with overall project budgets, timelines, quality standards, and safety expectations.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Oversee installation, testing, inspections, and commissioning of E/I systems.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, ISA, and relevant industrial standards.
- Track progress, performance KPIs, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Support procurement by coordinating vendor selection, material delivery, and equipment readiness.
- Serve as primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, internal engineering, and client teams.
- Facilitate consistent communication, resolve technical issues, and support field problem‑solving.
- Lead site meetings, safety reviews, and coordination sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial construction projects with an E/I focus.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, ISA, and industrial E/I construction practices.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Procore, Primavera, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage contractors, and deliver projects in the field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Toledo, Ohio.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing, chemical, refinery, or energy-sector projects.
- Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation calibration.
- Background in commissioning, startup, and turnover processes.
