• Personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed)
• Travel within ~2 hours of job site
• Primarily field coverage
• Target 40-hour work weeks (drive time included, overtime available)
• Substation work may require longer days
• Day-to-day schedule variability
• Paperwork can be completed from home

• Perform steel structure foundation and repair inspections
• Perform substation foundation and repair inspections
• Oversee wood pole treatment and testing methods
• Oversee steel structure coating crews
• Evaluate transmission structures to assess overall circuit health
• Assess storm damage and support emergency restoration crews
• Ensure contractor compliance with
  • Safety protocols
  • PPE requirements
  • Engineering drawings and specifications
• Capture and submit detailed photo documentation
• Produce accurate daily and weekly inspection reports

• Minimum 5 years of active field experience (7+ years preferred)
• Strong experience in
  • Transmission line work
  • Foundations
  • Conductor stringing
  • Transmission substations and facilities
• Knowledge of
  • QA/QC inspection and reporting practices
  • Electronic and mobile reporting tools
• Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Ability to travel based on project location

• Valid and current driver’s license
• U.S. citizenship
• Proficient in reading and interpreting
  • Engineering drawings
  • Technical specifications
  • Customer and engineering standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create clear, detailed inspection reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to perform consistent photo documentation

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Substation experience
• OSHA or maintenance certifications
• Construction or project management experience
• Design or engineering exposure
